Reiki (ray-key) is a healing technique based on the principle that the practitioner can channel energy into the patient by means of a gentle touch to activate the natural healing processes of the person’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being. Reiki is a loving, compassionate energy that’s flows through the person’s body unblocking all stagnant energies causing Byoki (unhealthy Ki or energy) Energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or even emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness. When the energy flows in harmoniously, the body, mind, and spirit return to equilibrium, leaving the person with a sense of happiness and well-being. This session includes a complete assessment on the first visit, reading of chakras and biofield (aura), use of tuning forks to support the nervous system and energy movements, and cleansing.
